1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Root Cause.AI application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Jordan Chavez. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Root Cause.AI is an AI-powered 5 Whys root cause analysis tool designed for quality management professionals. The Service generates structured investigations, categorisations, and corrective-action recommendations based on user input.

3. Account and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old or have authority to bind your organisation to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, spam, intellectual property infringement, or to introduce malware or interfere with security measures. You must not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent any technical limits of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

Jordan Chavez retains all ownership of the Service, its software, documentation, and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the selected plan. You may not redistribute, resell, or reverse engineer the Service.

6. Payments, Subscriptions and Paddle

Subscription payments, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; you will retain access until the end of the current billing period.

7. AI-Generated Outputs

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate analysis outputs. These outputs are for general guidance only and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying outputs, using professional judgement, and ensuring they are suitable for your specific circumstances. Outputs are not a substitute for professional advice.

8. Warranties and Service Level

The Service is provided "as is" without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jordan Chavez's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the six months preceding the claim.Jordan Chavez shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g., fraud, death, or personal injury).

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for: material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete or retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. User Content and Indemnity

You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to provide the Service. You indemnify Jordan Chavez against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jordan Chavez operates. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
